TRADE BEYOND THE LIMITS

A DEX is a peer-to-peer marketplace where cryptocurrency traders make transactions directly with one another without handing over management of their funds to an intermediary or custodian. Wasteland DEX is a fully decentralized, non-custodial exchange, meaning you always retain full control over your assets.

A standard 0.3% fee is applied to all token swaps. 0.25% of this fee is distributed to liquidity providers as a reward, incentivizing participation in our pools. The remaining 0.05% is allocated to the protocol treasury to fund future development, security audits, and continuous platform enhancements.

Our smart contracts have been rigorously audited by third-party security firms (please refer to our Security section for specific audit reports and details). However, interacting with any DeFi protocol carries inherent risks, including smart contract vulnerabilities. Always use a secure wallet and never share your private keys. We recommend exercising caution and only investing what you can afford to lose.

Impermanent Loss is a potential risk associated with providing liquidity to a pool. It's the difference in value between holding tokens in a liquidity pool versus holding them in your wallet. It typically occurs when the price of the tokens you deposited into the pool changes significantly after you've provided liquidity. We strongly advise all users to research this topic thoroughly and understand its implications before deciding to provide liquidity to any pool.
